Update payment method
Open the Payment Methods tab on the Billing page to manage cards on file.
Add a card
Section titled “Add a card”Click Add Method. You’ll go through Stripe’s secure card form — enter the card number, expiration, and billing zip, and Stripe stores it. The card shows up in your list as soon as it’s saved.
Set the default
Section titled “Set the default”Each card has a Set Default button. The default card is the one TracsConnect charges on your next billing date. There’s always exactly one default.
Remove a card
Section titled “Remove a card”Click Delete next to the card you want to remove. You can’t delete the default card — set a different card as the default first, then delete the old one.
Good habits
Section titled “Good habits”- Keep at least one valid card on file at all times.
- Update the card before it expires. Stripe will email you when a card is close to expiring, but it’s worth checking the Payment Methods tab every few months.
- If you switch banks, add the new card and set it as default before deleting the old one — that way nothing falls between the cracks.
If a card won’t save
Section titled “If a card won’t save”The most common reasons are a typo in the card number, a wrong billing zip, or the bank declining the test charge Stripe uses to verify the card. If everything looks right and it still won’t save, contact your bank — or contact support and we’ll help you debug.
