Reports
Reports answer the questions shop owners and managers ask every day — without building a spreadsheet first: sales, profit, declined work, estimate conversion, work in progress, technician output, and tire performance.
Open Reports from the dashboard sidebar, then choose a report. Most reports use the shop or shops selected in the dashboard header.
High-value reports
Section titled “High-value reports”| Report | What it helps answer |
|---|---|
| Daily Flash | What happened yesterday and what needs attention today? |
| Sales Performance | Are sales, margin, car count, and average ticket moving in the right direction? |
| Declined Work | Which declined recommendations should the team follow up on? |
| Estimate Funnel | Where are estimates dropping before they become invoices? |
| WIP Aging | Which open work orders are sitting too long? |
| Technician Productivity | Which technicians are producing hours, revenue, and profit? |
| Profit Margin | Which categories, technicians, or writers need a pricing review? |
| Tire Sales and Tire Inventory | Which tires sell, what is in stock, and where is money tied up in inventory? |
Reading reports correctly
Section titled “Reading reports correctly”Check the shop selection and date range before comparing numbers. Most reports cover a date range you choose. WIP Aging is the exception — it shows what is open right now, not what happened over a period.
Why a report may look wrong
Section titled “Why a report may look wrong”- The wrong shop or date range is selected.
- Work was entered in TRACS but has not synced yet.
- The report depends on cost, labor, technician, service writer, category, or tire details that are incomplete in TRACS.
- Your role does not allow every report or export action.
