Server Agent offline
The Server Agent is a small program on the shop’s server that keeps TracsConnect talking to TRACS. If it goes offline, dashboard data stops refreshing.
What you may notice
Section titled “What you may notice”- New work orders do not appear.
- Reports do not include recent activity.
- A shop connection shows as disconnected.
- The dashboard says it is waiting for the agent to connect.
What to check
Section titled “What to check”- Make sure the shop server is powered on.
- Confirm the shop server has internet access.
- Confirm TRACS can open on that machine.
- Ask whoever manages the server to confirm the TracsConnect Server Agent program is still running.
- Wait a few minutes, then refresh the dashboard.
When to contact support
Section titled “When to contact support”Contact support if the server is on, the internet is working, TRACS opens normally, and the Server Agent still does not reconnect.
