Customer Portal
The Customer Portal is the web page your customers open to see their estimates, approve recommended work, and look up past service. They reach it from a QR code, a text link, or by typing your shop’s web address.
What it does for your shop
Section titled “What it does for your shop”- Cuts down on phone calls about “what’s the status of my car?”
- Gives customers a clean place to read line items and approve recommendations
- Shows past visits so customers can self-serve their own history
What customers can do
Section titled “What customers can do”- See current estimates with line-item detail
- Approve recommended work without a phone call
- Look up past visits and what was done
- Save the page to their phone home screen

Section titled “What stays in TRACS”- Work order lifecycle (creating, finalizing, invoicing)
- Pricing rules, labor matrices, parts markup
- Customer and vehicle records (the portal reads them; you still manage them in TRACS)
- Internal notes you do not want customers to see
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A TracsConnect dashboard account with permission to open Setup → TracsConnect Portal
- Your shop code set in the dashboard
- Your TRACS shop active and connected
What you’ll do next

- QR Codes — generate QR codes to share with customers.
If something looks off after setup, the Troubleshoot page covers the common cases.
