Voxtelesys

Voxtelesys is a phone and texting provider a lot of shops use to send messages to customers. When you connect Voxtelesys to TracsConnect, your appointment reminders, document alerts, and other notifications go out through your Voxtelesys number — so customers see your shop’s number, not ours.

  • Appointment reminders (when you’ve turned them on in TracsConnect)
  • Document expiration alerts (insurance, registration, recall notices)
  • Daily sales report notifications to you or your team
  • Any other shop-to-customer text you trigger from the dashboard
  • RCS rich messages with automatic text fallback (optional, see RCS setup)
  • Your phone number, account, and billing
  • Long-term message logs (TracsConnect keeps recent delivery status; Voxtelesys holds the full history)
  • Inbound voice-call handling and your office phone setup
  • Carrier-level signup (10DLC brand registration, RCS verified-sender approval)
  • A Voxtelesys account with an SMS-enabled phone number
  • Access to the Voxtelesys Portal at portal.voxtelesys.net
  • A few minutes to create a new access key

You don’t need to call Voxtelesys support to use the basic texting connection — you can set everything up yourself in under ten minutes. RCS messaging is the only piece that needs Voxtelesys to approve you separately.

  1. Connect Voxtelesys to TracsConnect by creating an access key in the Voxtelesys Portal and pasting it into your dashboard.
  2. Send a test message to your own phone to confirm it’s working.
  3. (Optional) Set up RCS if you want richer messages with your shop’s brand name.

Before you go live with customer-facing reminders, skim the known caveats so you know what does and doesn’t send. If something goes wrong after you’ve connected, the troubleshooting page covers the common cases.
