Known caveats
One-way only
Section titled “One-way only”Google Calendar changes do not feed back to TRACS. If someone edits, moves, or deletes the Google event, TRACS is unchanged.
Treat TRACS as the schedule of record.
Google event details
Section titled “Google event details”TracsConnect writes appointment details into the event summary, time fields, and description. It does not add the customer as a Google attendee, so customers are not invited from Google Calendar.
Customer email and notes are optional
Section titled “Customer email and notes are optional”The setup window includes toggles for customer email and appointment notes. Turn them off for calendars that are shared more broadly than your service team.
Existing appointments
Section titled “Existing appointments”The live stream handles new incoming TRACS appointment events after sync is enabled. Use the manual Sync action for a specific appointment if you need to push one existing appointment.
Token access
Section titled “Token access”If Google revokes access or the shop changes Google accounts, reconnect Google Calendar from the setup window.
Multiple calendars
Section titled “Multiple calendars”The first version writes to one selected Google calendar per shop. If you need several destination calendars, use a separate shop configuration once multi-calendar routing is added.
