Connect to TracsConnect
Setup happens from the TracsConnect dashboard.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You should have:
- A Google account with write access to the destination calendar
- A selected shop in TracsConnect
- Permission to manage calendar integrations
Step 1: Open Google Calendar in TracsConnect
Section titled “Step 1: Open Google Calendar in TracsConnect”Sign in to the dashboard, open Connections & Integrations, and find Google Calendar.
Click Setup. The Google Calendar setup window opens.
Step 2: Connect Google
Section titled “Step 2: Connect Google”Click Connect. Google asks you to choose an account and approve calendar access.
When Google sends you back to TracsConnect, reopen the Google Calendar setup window if it is not already open.
Step 3: Choose a calendar
Section titled “Step 3: Choose a calendar”Use the Calendar dropdown to pick the calendar that should receive TRACS appointments.
If the dropdown is empty, click Refresh. If it is still empty, confirm the Google account can write to at least one calendar.
Step 4: Choose payload details
Section titled “Step 4: Choose payload details”Leave Customer email and Appointment notes enabled if your team wants those details in the Google event description.
Turn either setting off if the shared Google calendar should contain less customer detail.
Step 5: Enable sync and save
Section titled “Step 5: Enable sync and save”Turn on Enable sync, then click Save.
Step 6: Test
Section titled “Step 6: Test”Click Test to confirm TracsConnect can still reach Google Calendar.
For a one-off check, enter a TRACS appointment ID and click Sync. That action pushes one appointment to Google Calendar without pulling anything back from Google.
