Preview and activate

Use Review & Activate before you start accepting online bookings. It is the last step in the setup flow and has three parts: a pre-flight check, an availability preview, and the activation switch.

The Pre-flight check lists every required setup item and shows whether it is done. Required items are:

  • Shop time zone set
  • Business hours configured
  • Public booking windows set
  • At least one service enabled for online booking
  • At least one notification message with text

Fix any incomplete items before activating. The activation switch stays disabled until all required items are complete.

The availability preview lets you test exactly what customers would see before you go live.

  1. Open Review & Activate.
  2. Find Availability Preview.
  3. Choose a service.
  4. Choose a start date and end date.
  5. Choose Any, Waiter, or Drop-off.
  6. Expand Customer Context or Vehicle Context only if you want to test a specific rule (e.g., how a VIP customer or a diesel vehicle is handled).
  7. Click Run Preview.

The results show every slot in that range — green for available, red for blocked — grouped by day. Click a slot to see the reason it is blocked.

The results show:

  • The selected service
  • How many slots are available out of the total
  • Any required customer or vehicle fields for that service
  • Available and blocked slots grouped by day

If the preview returns no available slots, check the service settings, public booking windows, capacity limits, lead time, and any blocks covering that date range.

Once the pre-flight check is all green and the preview looks right:

  1. Scroll down to the Activate online scheduler panel.
  2. Flip the switch to active.

Customers can now book from your public booking link or from the Customer Portal.

  1. Open Scheduling.
  2. Open Review & Activate.
  3. Flip the switch to off.

Customers will see a message that online booking is not available right now. Your settings are saved and nothing else changes — flip it back on whenever you are ready.
