What is a web app?
A web app is a customer-facing page you set up in TracsConnect and share with your customers. They open it on their phone or computer — no app store, no install.
What’s available
Section titled “What’s available”- Customer Portal — customers look up their estimate, approve recommended work, and see past visits.
- Drop-Off — customers fill out a short form to drop a vehicle off; works after hours too.
How customers reach your web app
Section titled “How customers reach your web app”Every shop has a short code (like AB-CD) that becomes the web address customers.tracsconnect.com/<your shop code>/. Customers reach the web apps three ways:
- Scanning a QR code you print or display.
- Tapping a link in a text message TracsConnect sends.
- Typing the address directly.
Where you set things up
Section titled “Where you set things up”In your TracsConnect dashboard, open the Setup group in the sidebar. You’ll see TracsConnect Portal (the Customer Portal) and TracsConnect Drop-off as separate pages. Each one has its own Settings, Themes, and QR Codes tabs.
