Work Orders
Work Orders shows every open repair order in one place. Use it to track what is actively in the shop, spot stalled ROs, and get a quick read on WIP totals and gross profit.
What to use it for
Section titled “What to use it for”- Search open ROs by WO number, customer name, or vehicle.
- Filter by stage: Estimate, In Progress, or Work Complete.
- Sort by RO number, age, total, potential upsell, or GP%.
- Expand any RO to see its line items, technician, and sub-estimate breakdown.
- Open an RO directly in the TRACS Workbench when your workstation is connected.
Where the information comes from
Section titled “Where the information comes from”Work-order data comes from TRACS through your shop’s TracsConnect connection. The dashboard pulls the same information your advisors see in TRACS, presented so it is easier to review from a browser or tablet.
Why something may look wrong
Section titled “Why something may look wrong”- The RO was just created or edited in TRACS and has not synced yet.
- The wrong shop is selected in the header.
- A workstation-linked feature requires an active TRACS connection.
- Your role does not have access to that action.
