Scheduling

Scheduling is where you control online booking — when customers can book, what services they can choose, and whether TracsConnect takes the booking or hands it off to AutoOps or Setmore.

Use this section when you are setting up:

  • Native Booking in the Customer Portal
  • Scheduled drop-off from the Drop-Off Wizard
  • AutoOps or Setmore as the booking surface customers see
  • Shop rules for hours, lead time, how many cars you can take per slot, services, and confirmation messages

Sign in to your dashboard, then open Scheduling from the sidebar.

Scheduling is a five-step guided setup. Work through the steps in order the first time, then come back to any step to make changes.

StepWhat it controls
FoundationBooking profile, business hours, how long each booking slot is, public booking windows, and how many cars you can take per slot.
ServicesThe services customers can book online and how those services are grouped.
PoliciesHow far ahead customers must book, how far into the future they can book, same-day booking, and customer or vehicle rules.
Exceptions & NotificationsClosed days, holidays, partial blocks, and the messages customers receive after booking.
Review & ActivateTest your settings and flip the switch to turn online booking on.

The first thing you pick in Foundation is the booking profile — how customers access online booking.

ProfileUse it when
TracsConnect NativeYou want TracsConnect to handle the booking flow directly.
AutoOpsYour shop already uses AutoOps and wants customers to book there.
SetmoreYour shop already uses Setmore and wants that calendar to handle booking.

For Native Booking, customers move through a short flow:

  1. Choose one or more services.
  2. Choose whether they will wait or drop off, when both options are allowed.
  3. Enter vehicle details.
  4. Enter contact details.
  5. Pick an available time.
  6. Add notes.
  7. Review and submit the request.

For scheduled drop-off, customers choose from services that allow drop-off, pick a time, and confirm.

  1. Set up online scheduling for the full setup path.
  2. Services for bookable service setup.
  3. Hours, capacity, and policies for availability rules.
  4. Preview and activate before turning booking on.
