Estimate Funnel
Estimate Funnel answers: Where are estimates dropping before they become completed invoices?
What it shows
Section titled “What it shows”The funnel tracks each work order through four stages and shows the count, total value, and conversion rate at each step:
- Created — estimate written
- Scheduled — appointment booked
- Completed — repair order finished
- Invoiced — customer charged
Summary metrics include booking rate, completion rate, close rate, and overall conversion from estimate to invoice.
Where the numbers come from
Section titled “Where the numbers come from”The report follows work through the date range you select, from the moment an estimate is created to when it is invoiced. A work order moves through stages as status changes are recorded in TRACS.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”Use the funnel to find where the process is leaking. A low booking rate points to follow-up. A low completion rate points to scheduling or capacity issues. A low close rate means work is finishing but not getting invoiced — that is money sitting uncollected.
Why it may look wrong
Section titled “Why it may look wrong”- Work was created in one date range and invoiced in another, so it may appear split or missing.
- Staff skipped or changed stages in TRACS without following the normal workflow.
- Estimates were rewritten from scratch instead of updated, which creates a new record.
- A shop or date range selection excludes part of the workflow.
