Caveats and limits

Native Booking is available, but it works best when Scheduling is fully configured and reviewed.

  • Native Booking is managed in Scheduling, not through a separate Integrations setup card.
  • The shop time zone must be set before the Foundation setup can be completed.
  • Business hours are reviewed in Scheduling, but they are edited in Calendar > Shop Hours.
  • Public booking windows are separate from business hours. A shop can be open without allowing online booking during that entire time.
  • AutoOps and Setmore hide the native hours, services, and policy steps because those providers own their own customer booking experience.
  • At least one service must be enabled for online booking before customers can book.
  • Each service controls its own waiter, drop-off, approval, and required-detail rules.
  • Capacity settings should leave room for phone calls, walk-ins, and advisor-entered appointments.
  • The online scheduler cannot be activated until the pre-flight check is complete.
  1. Keep the first rollout narrow.
  2. Start with the services your advisors trust the most.
  3. Use reserved internal capacity until the shop is comfortable with online volume.
  4. Preview availability after every hours, capacity, service, policy, or block change.
  5. Review submitted requests with advisors during the first week after activation.
