Caveats and limits
Native Booking is available, but it works best when Scheduling is fully configured and reviewed.
Important limits
Section titled “Important limits”- Native Booking is managed in Scheduling, not through a separate Integrations setup card.
- The shop time zone must be set before the Foundation setup can be completed.
- Business hours are reviewed in Scheduling, but they are edited in Calendar > Shop Hours.
- Public booking windows are separate from business hours. A shop can be open without allowing online booking during that entire time.
- AutoOps and Setmore hide the native hours, services, and policy steps because those providers own their own customer booking experience.
- At least one service must be enabled for online booking before customers can book.
- Each service controls its own waiter, drop-off, approval, and required-detail rules.
- Capacity settings should leave room for phone calls, walk-ins, and advisor-entered appointments.
- The online scheduler cannot be activated until the pre-flight check is complete.
Operational advice
Section titled “Operational advice”- Keep the first rollout narrow.
- Start with the services your advisors trust the most.
- Use reserved internal capacity until the shop is comfortable with online volume.
- Preview availability after every hours, capacity, service, policy, or block change.
- Review submitted requests with advisors during the first week after activation.
